Our office is located in an old antebellum house that is designated a historical site of Lithonia, Georgia and it has been renovated into a professional office building. I sincerely look forward to facilitating you in your journey toward growth and healing in this comfortable quaint setting. I have worked with children and their families my entire career. I believe that there is always hope and with the proper knowledge and guidance, one can live a healthy, fulfilling life. My approach to counseling embraces the promotion of mental and physical health and wellness by treating the whole individual and family
I have provided counseling services as a Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia since January, 2002 having received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University/Georgia School of Professional Psychology and National Board Counseling Certification in 2006; In 2012 Acquired Board Certified Coach Credential (BCC). In addition, I am a Licensed Professional Registered Nurse and received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Rutgers University, New Jersey in 1975. I have a rich and varied range of experiences in the field of mental health having provided counseling services at the Attachment and Bonding Center of Atlanta/Alliance for Change through Treatment, Dekalb Community Service Board, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Satellite Outpatient Clinics, DeKalb County Board of Health Pediatric Clinic, Chris Kids, Inc. and the Newark, New Jersey Board of Education.
